General
Trading in Runscape Trading Post is bound by the same Terms & Conditions as the
main RuneScape game. Using this site dose not breach Rule 12 from the RuneScape
game "RuneScape items must only be exchanged for other items/services
within the game." as no actual transfer of items or gold (GP) takes part on
this site. Using this site is only a means of finding items to purchase in the
game or for selling items within the game, as all transactions are completed in
a RuneScape World by the users.
Buyers
When bidding on auctions on this site you are agreeing to purchase the auction
items for the closing price of the sale. Failing to complete the transaction
will lead to negative feedback and reduce your rating within the RuneScape
Trading Post. Constant failure to complete the transaction could result in the
suspension of your account on the RuneScape Trading Post preventing you from
taking part in any further auctions.
Sellers
As a seller you agree to sell the auction items for the closing price of the
sale. Use the reserve or starting price to set the minimum amount you are
willing to sell the item for. Failure to complete the transaction will lead to
negative feedback and reduce your rating within the RuneScape Trading Post.
Constant failure to complete the transaction could result in the suspension of
your account on the RuneScape Trading Post preventing you from taking part in
any further auctions.
Rating
The ratings system is a guide to the users credibility, the more the user
sells/purchases items through this site the higher their rating will become. Use
the ratings along with the feedback to judge the user you are thinking of buying
from or selling too.
Ratings are given after the completion of
a transaction along with feedback, ratings can be either positive + 1, Negative
- 1 or Neutral = 0 depending on how good or bad the transaction was judged by
the person leaving the feedback.
If for example you complete a transaction
but the seller did not show up on the arranged time, you night give him a
neutral rating as the transaction was completed just a bit late. where as if the
seller did not have the items listed in the auction then you would give a
negative rating.
In each case you would also state the
problems with the transaction within the feedback for the user, as users have a
right to appeal ratings and feedback. In the case of an appeal both users will
be contacted and asked to make their case for the situation. and a member of the
admin team will decide the outcome, and any changes necessary will be made. |
